Join us at Queer Crafting Club, every Thursday (Check our Facebook, Instagram, or our website’s blog for updates) from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Status of Women Building.
We are making some changes to the club this time around! Each week we will supply a DIY project that we can work on in a group setting but you are also free to come work on a project you are working on at home.
By offering a DIY group project, as well as the option to bring your own, this allows for more accessibility to people that may not have the means to purchase supplies at home to join or those that would like to try new things but not wanting to fully invest in buying materials.
Each week I will post on our social media and on our blog on the website stating the project that will be available. These projects may be able to be completed in one evening but there may also be projects that would take a few weeks to complete as well. We will try this out and see how things go! This is a safe space for community members to get together, work on projects, laugh, chat, and be yourself authentically without judgement. Please note that even though this event is held at the Status of Women building everyone is allowed to attend this group.
The sky's the limit to what you can bring to work on - painting, drawing, knitting, crochet, poetry, whatever you are working on! And as always if you’re not working on anything and you just want to be around like minded friends and have good conversation you are more than welcome to come do that as well.
