Grand Falls-Windsor Pride was established in spring 2018 when a small group of like-minded people came together to show love and support to the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Central NL by organizing the first annual Grand Falls-Windsor Pride Week. In 2019 we became an incorporated non-profit group. We have a dedicated group of passionate volunteers who make up our Board of Directors and planning committee.

What We Do

Fostering essential partnerships with community organizations and businesses
We greatly value these community partnerships. With their support, we are able to increase the visibility of Pride GFW. Co-partnering for events affords us the opportunity to support one another and demonstrate the value of inclusivity.

Annual GFW Pride Month & Events throughout the year
Celebrating and supporting our local 2SLGBTQ+ community
In 2018, we held the first Pride GFW week. Now, we offer events throughout the entire month of June - as well as throughout the year. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter (@gfwpride) to stay updated on our events!
Community Partnerships
Amplifying Services and Supports
Connecting others to resources and support

Pride GFW is dedicated to increasing awareness of the support and education resources that exist in Central NL, province-wide and beyond.
Recognizing that Central NL is made up of many small communities and that 2SLGBTQ+ folks in those places can often feel isolated, we want them to know we are here to support them.
